Buy Tech Deck Wooden Collector Series

check two weeks in the forest.

lazy to type a lot of text this time, the pictures will suffice.
Saturday, 16/06:
Quick trip kayaking in a swamp to see alligators. Cayman also not shy.

Next: day after day, walks in the woods, I come back.

Well, 2 or 4 people in the forest, we made such a Barouf that the only animals that can see, they are insects. For agoutis, sloths, tamarins, jaguars etc. ... it is grated.
There are still many insects beautiful, fun ... the beautiful butterflies to grasshoppers in the form of sheets for each species common in France, there are dozens of surprises here.
admit, this one, it's ugly. But it is the only one I managed to take pictures.

I bump into a lot of blowdown, which gives me many opportunities to see the sky, and height (impressive) of canopy.
As spiny palms (not small), which creepers razors like animals, but grass cut so that they lacerate up clothes, also ended, less unpleasant whatever may have been a nasty surprise when one sits down ...

is rather difficult to take pictures so that rich and developed car became completely random.
Anyway, it gives you an idea of the thing, right?

A little moisture on top of that ...
But hey, when it comes to beautiful mountain streams, is appreciated.

First day in Guyana! Arrival in Guyana

Monday, 06/11/2007.

7am Sunrise, it's really beautiful, hot course.

After arriving at night, I discovered Kourou. The neighborhood does not look, but the campus is really beautiful. I had never seen so many different trees, many birds weird ...
There are lazy, weavers, vultures, a species of large rodent ...

My Convention has just arrived and not yet signed by the IRD and CIRAD, and I can not even begin work.
After some presentations, I discovered the campus. Different teams, different institutions (IRD, CIRAD, INRA, CNRS, ENGREF) seem much closer than I saw during INIP, probably because they are all working on the same plots, on common issues in a joint ...

I have my office (air conditioned), still no connection, and for now, not afford to either the library or on the ground.

the afternoon stroll Cayenne has to settle some formalities.
's it, my contract is signed, my air tickets will be refunded, and I would get training allowances (which I had not initially planned).

My schedule is looming, I would go to Paracou on Monday to find a few places.

You can write me at the following address:
HMIMINA Gabriel, Campus Agronomique BP 316, 97379 Kourou

Ps: In your opinion, what takes you one leaf samples of adult individuals on 30m high? (Response in a few days).

10.06.2007, 20.30 local time, 1:30 UK time: Arrival in Guyana.
I met Emile, a trainee ENGREF who has worked here.
First printing rather humid heat and humidity are stifling, and we have barely set foot outside the airport it started to rain. Det
not rain ... what a rain storm under a sky full of clouds etc..
A steady rain, fast, which begins without warning, and stops after a few minutes as it began.
I then discovered in the apartment where we are staying until a place becomes available on campus Sylvolab; an apartment in the city, next to a supermarket, with kitchen, TV and air conditioning ...!
